While I was out on the web last night, looking for topics, I ran across a web site (which shall remain nameless LOL) that made some fantastic claims about the dance-related products it was selling. I mean, fantastic. If the claims on this web site were true, you could buy certain products and be a great dancer in a matter of very little time -- a few days of applying so-and-so principles, and voila!
The thought popped into my head, "This guy is a quack!" Then it came to me. Dance, in the US and across the world is a multi-billion dollar business. Of course there are quacks out there. Wherever there's money to be made, there are quacks trying to get their share, so why should dance be any different?
Does anyone out there have dance quack experiences? (Please don't name names -- just incidents.) And how can you tell a quack from a legitimate practitioner, especially if you're new to the dance scene?
