Running the Miami event for the sixth year, Isaac and Laura Altman--themselves World Champions, judges and promoters--expect more than 100 competitors this year with over 3000 spectators over the 3 day event. The WSF judges include World Championship class adjudicators from Colombia, Canada, Germany, Venezuela and the US. Also this year, the WSF will have Salsa workshops from World Class instructors in all levels and styles as well as a special class of the new exercise sensation LatinArobics! All workshop classes will be FREE, says Isaac and Laura, by the generosity of our sponsors, the Miccosukee Resort and Gaming, Presidente Beer, Drakes Nightclub, and Industria Licorera De Caldas, makers of Cristal and Caldas Rum. This year the WSF will spotlight two recording artists at the event, Nicaraguan Salsa singing sensation KV and the ambassador of Salsa, Panamanian Willie Panama. They will be singing their latest songs from their new Cd’s. Receiving the WSF Lifetime Achievement Award for Music on Thursday, November 8th will be Jairo Varela, the leader of one of the most famous Salsa bands in the world, Grupo Niche.
To begin the celebration of dance and music, the WSF will be having a kickoff party at Drakes Nightclub, located at 13754 SW 88th Street, starting at 10p.m., on Wednesday, November 7th. This party will feature a live Salsa band, a World Class dance show, and free giveaways. Tickets for this party are $10 at the door.

The World Salsa Federation, Inc. provides top-notch Certification for Teachers and Judges, Instructional DVD's and Videos, Achievement Awards for Amateurs, and with great customer support.
