Hello everyone!
I'm Krystle, and I live in England.
I have been searching for a Dance Forum for such a long time, and today, I found this place. :)
I love dancing, for me it's a way of releasing my feelings, and letting go of myself. I can be free when i dance. Saying that, I'm very new to dancing - I've always wanted to dance though, ever since I was a little girl, I've wanted to be on stage peforming. I haven't been in a show yet, but after every year at my Dance School they put on a show, so I'll be in the spotlight soon. :)
Ah. I guess you guys would like to know what type of dancing I do........ it's mainly Tap, but I do a bit of Jazz, Irish and Latin with it. Sometimes it might be more Jazz dancing than Tap, or more Irish than Tap, you know? I have so much more to learn though.
Well... it's great to be here!
Take care,
Krystle

Hi Krystal . . . welcome to the forums!
We're glad you found us. Tell us how you happened to find the Dance-Forums . . .???
I think that you'll find that many of us are like you . . . we find that dancing is a release. Some of us, like you, also like to be performing . . . and even on stage. I love being "center stage" - competitive dancing, playing the guitar in a band, doing stand up comedy, or even making presentations at work - gets me in front of people, so "I can do
my thing." We can be such show offs  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tap, jazz, Irish, and Latin . . . nice combination.
"It's great to have you here . . ."

Welcome Krystle, :D
That's what I like about this forum; just about all common dance types and styles represented.
I traveled to the UK back in 1987; it was a great trip. 8)
As you can see, I've borrowed a little piece of British history for my user name and avatar.

Vince A - Well.. like I said before, I had been searching for a dance forum for a long time. I went to www.google.com/, and just typed 'dance forums' - like I've always done - and this site came up as the top result. :D
And yes, we (dancers) definitely can be show offs! ;) The spotlight is where I want to be. I'm bubbling inside with excitement.. with a few more months of training, I'll be able to do a show with my Tap teacher.
borikensalsero - I can believe that. Already, (in a day) I've been here 3 times. I love the topics.. so so interesting.
Jonathan (SDsalsaguy) - By your nickname, I thought you were into Salsa. *giggles* :P
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE ELSE who has welcomed me. You all seem so nice. :)

I can't leave..... arggghhhh...... I'm stuck here!!! Heeeeelp!!!!!!
LoL!
I'm joking. I don't want to leave, this forum is incredible. I've never known any other people that love dance like I do - well, apart from my tap teacher.. she's a TRUE dance fan. :) Others have always found my love for dance strange, and somehow, DIFFERENT... ? I don't understand that. :!:

As for my dancing, I'm a salsero and a ballroom dancer.
On that note, SD is a great guy, even if he is having an affair with that hussy called "ballroom dancing."

Welcome to the Forum Family, crystal clear! You've definately found an addictive home of dancing craziness, encouragement and love. I look forward to seeing you on the boards.
BTW, I dance tap as well. Sometimes jazz and have done a little Irish. Right now, it's mostly tap and belly dance.

Woah! Even more wonderful people welcoming me. :) Thank you.
dancersdreamland - You Tap dance? Oh great, for a second, I didn't think there were any other tappers on here. So, how long have you been tapping? What level are you on? And you know, I was thinking about taking up Belly dancing, but i wasn't sure if i'd enjoy it so much.. can you tell me what it's like? Is it hard to learn? I think Tap dancing is one of the hardest, if not THE hardest, dances to learn (although - not being big headed - I'm learning quite fast)... would you agree?
NeoDevin - For you too...... :kissme:

I'm starting tap again tonight, so that'll make at least 3 of us :) (I think there's one more in hiding). I did tap when I was little, and now I'm getting back to it. See my longer post in the "Happy Random Thoughts" thread in the Dancer's Annonymous forum for more details :)

Hey! I found this post in a search in google and it made me want to join because you all seem soo nice and you all share the same love as I do for dancing!
If you want to know what dancing I do, well... Ballet, Irish, Country and Western, Latin, Ballroom and Street dancing, but my passion is Irish!! I haven't been dancing that long only about 3 years but I've always wanted to dance as I'm very much of a show off, like you say, and have always loved being the center of attention!
