Anyone from this board going to the International Hustle/Salsa/Wc convention the first week in April?-10 min from south beach 8) i've went the past two years its off the ganchos. 3 dancing rooms salsa/hustle/wc,and outdoor by the pool dancing 12'00 4'00 molto caldo in more ways then one :lol:

Not sure yet. One of my dance teachers is arranging a group to carpool and drive down. So for me, it's still a maybe.

One of my teachers has talked up a storm about it. Unfortunately not this year, due to other plans as I ddin't know about this until it was too late :( ...BUT I will be there in 2004. Along with the flurry in Saratoga Springs in Feb 2004. :)

Yup. 2005...Cool that there might be another mini-df reunion here. I'm looking forward to the sasla congress late this year in NYC. It's going to be my first, probably!!

It's sounds like a whole lotta fun. Not sure yet if I'm attending. :D

I'm planning on going to Miami in the next month. I've only been to a couple of clubs. I went to Gloria Estefan's club. It was pretty cool. There was a big Rueda class the night I went. I went to another one around Collins and 10th. I forget the name, but I didn't care for it all that much. So where should I go this time?

Was that place called Mangos? That's an open air bar where the bartenders and cocktail waitresses dance on top of the bar to entertain the crowd. It's a fun place to take tourists visiting Miami who like clubbing but aren't especially into dancing.

What kind of place and what kind of dancing would you like? What days of the week? What part of town? Salsa is by far the most popular dance here, of course.
