I don't mean the ones who win the rising star categories in dance competitions. I mean the ones with star quality. When you're watching dancers or dance comps, how do you define that star quality?

I remember a comp I attended last year, wher a teenaged girl perform an exhibition routine. She had it all -- stage presence, great costume and make-up, excellent technique, poise under pressure, eye contact with the audience. You name it. To me, she was a rising star.

What projects dancer star quality to you?

The ability to look like there is no where else you would rather be than on the dancefloor. Even though you may be sweating up a storm and your muscles may be straining, aching and tied in knots!
