I'm sitting here unwinding after a hell of a day at work listening to Radio Tango.

I thought that some of you fellow fanatics might like to do the same! mms://streaming.netizen.com.ar/la2x4

Thanks, JonD. Will check it out. Maybe now I can actually learn to hear the difference between AT and ballroom tango music.

My problem with the Argentin tango station is that I don't get the song listing info, which I need...for the reason that I explain below.

Another station that seems to have some AT music is w w w.batanga.com.

Any others that any of you AT fans listen to? This is important to me because only through listening can I acquire a taste for which Orqestras appeal to me.

Thanks in advance. :)

I have not listened to it much. But the day I devoted to it was very fruitful - they put a lot of different orchestras of all styles - I learnt a bit more about Tango music - but it seems to me that they are more classic, early tangos

How do you make it work? (I mean, actually listening to the radio) Whatever I choose (128k or 24k) in their page it keeps telling me about a "listen.pls" file and I can't do anything with it.

If it goes about radiocubik, I have no problems with it. Try again

Ok, so the URL, then I click on "radio tango" somewhere on the left side, and then on the right side appears "listen now", and I click on "125 kbps", and a new window appears, which says "you're trying to use listen.pls".
What do you do then ?

Not sure why you are having issues newbie as it works fine for me. When I click on 125 I get a window popping up with real player and so say okay and then hear the music playing.

Realplayer...ok. My PC was trying to open the file with another program (kindda mp3 player). It works now. Thx
Plus, unlike "La 2x4", this radiocubik displays the title being currently broadcasted.

Hi,

The Netizen seems to go offline at times but it usually works well - what I don't like so much about it is all the ads.

For those who wanted playlists, I would use TodoTango.com -

I have put a list of radios on my website at:
http://www.tangoyorkshire.co.uk/ then click on 'Online radios' in the menu.

Enjoy!
