Although Latin Rhythm is the obvious one, lately I have found that I really like the magazine The Beat. If you don't look closely,you might mistake it for a reggae magazine. Actually, it defines its main focus as the Caribean--English-speaking, Spanish-speaking, and French-speaking--but it also covers African music, and a smattering of world music generally.

My favorite is Latin Beat Magazine. They have excellent articles about the history of salsa and Max Salazar writes a lot about the great personalities of this music!

I think I meant Latin Beat when I said "Latin Rhythm." I find it a little disappointing, not that it doesn't have some good articles from time to time. I like their Tite Curet tribute.
