Okay, pet owners. Just in case you didn't know it, there's a new dance discipline out there just for your enjoyment. Yours and your dog's of course. Canine freestyle. I'm not making this up. check it out. LOL.

One of my other hobbies in life is showing dogs (AKC Conformation)...so I have actually seen what was called "Square Dancing Dogs." It is basically a bunch of obedience people that teach their dogs these things.

Some of the dogs just look like they are walking around. Then some others are actually oddly good. They actually look like they are marching to the rhythm.

People also take these things a step further with one-on-one performances with their dogs. It kind of reminds me of equestrian dressage with certain beats, turns, and jumps. It is actually pretty cool to watch.

Not that I'd EVER take the time to teach my dog a thing like that. And no...they don't grab hold of the dogs from paws and attempt to "frame." ;)
