Okay, my teacher taught me a new step today but I am not sure what its called. I was wanting to look up videos of it to see what it looks like instead of just knowing what it "feels" like. Sorry if this is a really bad description.

Basically it's in east coast swing where you step to the right then cross your left foot over slowly. Then quickly you cross your feet and swivel while progressing towards the right.

If anybody has any ideas it'd be great.

What dance position are you in when doing this? Closed? Open? One-hand hold?

If you're the woman, it sounds like a lindy...Fred Astaire terminology...spot turn like fascination said. If it is, it changes the regular timing of swing from 1&2, 3&4, 56 to 1&2, 34, 5&6, 78. I could be wrong. It just sounded like that particular step with the description. Hope this helps :)
