i am auditioning for the top cats (carolina panthers cheerleading squad)....and well, we are suppose to wear a 2 piece leotard, dance tights, and jazz sneakers. this is my question, where can i find some high cut (on the leg) bloomers (not like cheerleading bloomers). i can't find any anywhere and i need to be able to order them within the next couple of days so they will be here by the 19th. does anyone have any ideas? i would really appreciate it. if you go to the link below, it shows you pics from last years auditions and what the girls are wearing...thats what i need to wear. pay close attention to the bloomers/bottoms the girls have on. plus, if you have any pointers or tips i would love you forever....haha...oh and one more thing, any ideas on a top for me???

panthers.com . . .
then click on auditions

p.s. sorry for the long post, i hope someone can help me! thank you soo soo soo much! can't wait to hear back from somebody!

backbaydancewear.com has them. Don't waste your time on discountdancesupply. Limited selection.

And before you order, you may want to call a local dance store. even if they don't have the briefs you need in stock, sometimes they will order for you. And if they do, you save having to pay the postage.

Good luck with your audition. :D

Any time. I'm still thinking about the top. Personally, I like close fitting crop tops for dance exhibitions (other than formal) Maybe something with sparkles?

Not up on the "bloomers," most women wear what is called dance pants, and they can be purchased just about anywhere that sells Danskins . . . . . . and they come in all colors and lengths.

For the top . . . does the "top cats" have a logo?? How about putting the logo on a crop top, as Jenn suggested, or any other type of stretchy, jersey material that you like . . . then taking stones . . . like Swarovski Rhinestones and outlining the logo, or totally filling the logo in with the stones???

I've seen some really great tops that some women have done with stones . . . Harley shirts, car shirts, sports team shirts, dance events shirts, etc. All they did was stone the emprinted area, and that shirt took on some class!

Oy! I just tried allaboutdance.com. They have a great selection, but the web site is very badly designed -- there was no search feature, so you had to scroll through the whole catalog to find anything. Yikes!

They do offer express shipping seven days a week, and they have an 800 number where you can get help from a live human being. I'm not sure if they have the high cut briefs ( I gave up after about thirty pages of scrolling LOL) , but it might be worth a call.

try the "dance fashion" link from dancesport.uk.com. It's mostly skirts, but there are some cute tops like the "wrap-tie top" from the chrisanne 2003 page, the "latin crop top" by Dancesport UK, or the "sheer beaded top" by Notably Unique. They're not exactly like what was in the picture, but might be worth a look.

dance vision had some tops and skirts on deep, deep clearance, like $10 - $15, a while ago. Probably worth checking out their web site.

They still have some tops in smaller sizes, it seems. Most of the smaller sized skirts are gone. Try the sia sia separates. I didn't care for the dance vision separates, much. (And they're more expensive LOL)

Oh, and by the way, dance vision has the best service and delivery I've ever experienced. Fedex second day air for the regular delivery price. I have ordered via snail mail with a check on a Monday and received merchandise on Wednesday (two days later, not nine), before the check even had a chance to clear. Those guys and gals are great. And they're nice to talk with on the phone, as well. A good experience all around. No fooling.
