Trying to figure out which member of the couple is the engine in a standing spin. Let's say that the couple is coming out of a Left Whisk for the sake of example.

Both partners are travelling forward, but the man is anchored at the right foot? The power of the couple should be additive, but is one doing more work than the other or is it balanced?

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Scott

my guess is both people are co-engines 50/50 (emphasize the word "guess")

100 / 100 but in different ways. The lead's momentum is created by the opening of the right shoulder (rightward rotation); the follow's momentum comes from the natural drive created on all forward steps.
