Finally!!! Slavik has found the perfect partner! They will be unstoppable!
"It is official now that Slavik Kryklyvyy & Hanna Karttunen dance together. Their World debute will take place on the 26th April 2008 when they will appear at the "Dancer Agaist Cancer" Charity Ball in Austria, Vienna. See more details on the DAC website." This is taken from dancesportinfo.

I agree - they will be unstoppable. Not sure Slavik ever had a partner that was so his equal as Hanna will be.

I have to agree that they should be great together... but need to see if she complements his style which is so unique.. I did like him a lot with karina, so I will wait and see.

I know. I really loved him with Karina. He had a very strong presence and she was so soft and feminine. Hmmm....Who knows. I giess we'll have to see. Might be great! I am totally looking forward to seeing them dance. Pretty sure they are going to be doing a show at Emerald. Yay!

They aren't listed on the Emerald Ball website - Max & Beata are listed under Breaking News. -- one year at Miami, Michael & Beata and Slavik & Karina did a joint show - that was spectacular!

I went to the 'Dancer Against Cancer' charity event in Vienna last night. In fact, I'm sat in Vienna Airport right now waiting for my flight home. She looks absolutely amazing. This partnership is beautiful. I am so happy for them, and they both seem ecstatic themselves, they are just made for each other! This is seriously the perfect partnership!
Oh, life is awesome!

Blackpool is too soon. They will come to watch though. They will dance at Millennium in June, so not too long to wait until they come to the US.

Hmm. I have seen videos of Hanna when she was dancing with Paul and then videos of her showcase performances with Da Silva. I just have to say, I liked her better before. She was more of a dancer and less of a gymnast (which is not to say she still doesn't have it, but that she's been going on a different direction with the showcases and I just find it less artistic and more about the tricks and acro). Also, she's now a bit too thin, scarily thin IMHO. Maybe coming back to dancesport will sort of bring back the old Hanna?
Not to say that she's not incredibly talented. I mean, DUH. :D

Am I the only person who really liked Hanna and Victor? I think exhibition/ cabaret is too often unfairly considered an inferior way to dance. I’m mesmerised by a good exhibition couple, and no one was as good as Hanna and Victor.

Matter of taste, methinks. And as far as Hanna is concerned, I got a lot more emotion and a feeling of a story out of watching her dance comp style than showcase.

Well, sure, but with Victor and Hanna displayed such a breathtaking athleticism and majesty that only the Exhibition style can display.
There’s plenty of other really wonderful “emotion + story” couples out there. There’s not that many that can do what Victor and Hanna could.

Yeah they were ok to watch. I just still never really got over the fact that he had to always show his abs and upper body. I'm not gay...I think he's extremely well built, but unless it really worked into the theme of the dance, I felt he was a bit too self absorbed. I always thought of him as the indian from the village people :)

Well yes, Victor could have made a trip to his local shirts store, but nonetheless, they really were amazing to watch together, I felt, and the splitting of the partnership is just another blow to the popularity of cabaret dancesport :-(
I think it's just wonderful that an Hanna has ties to Australia with her dancing. Proving we can be world class (just in case Jason Gilkingson didn't already prove that!)
Your country is gigantic. Whether or not you produce anything fantastic right away...it's only a matter of time :) I miss Roy Mavor :(

When and where can I download your Slavik && Hanna dancing together video's ? Cause you promised and now I'm dying to see them. Share them to the world... Set them free.
By the way, Victor && Hanna where super great... I love them, lots of emotion and passion in their dance, although I think that it could be a little bit less acrobatic :)
