Catch them together for the last show ever, on the Sat of the Congress. if you can, book a private with them (coz their workshops are so full...but do them by all means). Luis is fantastic in passing club-friendly practical tips for the leads.....

Ah yes.. u should really consider taking private sessions with Luis&Joby SG.. u cant believe how much u can learn.. u will comeout of there as if re-born.. interms of LA Style on 1.. its not a matter of new moves but more like change of perception and how to move thats key..

A couple i know .. they are best friends of mine took private sessions with them at the 2003 congress and man oh man did it show.. its like a dance leap .. not that they weren't already great dancers.. cause they were if at other styles (miami, cuban).. but lets just say they got a whole new dimension to play on and develop post sessions.. they added alot to their dancing that way..

This takes me on to another point.. it is a view i support .. for a salsero/a to seek out all the major styles and not just stick to one.. that way they will be able to dance and enjoy all the dance scenes anywhere in the world and be a more complete salsa dancer.. they will never be stuck out on any dance floor just watching cause they cant dance a style or another

In timing.. learning the clave and contra-clave, on 1, on 2, on 3

In Movement style.. Cuban, LA, NY, Miami each with its own sabor and style/direction of body movement ..

It takes time certainly and of course money.. but its very much worth it .. and then u can make up new movement (freestyle) by mixing this and that .. play the dance .. play the timing .. enjoy the passion as only a few can.. and this is whats sooo magnetic about salsa.. so much variety .. so many flavors .. u keep fallin in luv with it over and over again :D

Branching off that u have Chachacha.. Batchata.. Merengue.. Cumbia.. going along with the package.. each unique .. each with a distinct beauty.. each required for passion fullfillment..

Whats even more amazing is u can easily and naturally incorporate other dances in your salsa (hiphop, tango, quebradita, tap almost anything u like works here) .. not to mention Shines and Solo action.. ah what can i say..

That is how it is meant to be danced, style, smoothness and fluid movements. I'ts neat to see how everyone evolves after time and developes their own little style/flava and incorporate it to their steps. Just goes to show you no 2 salseros, salseras are the same.

Luis has a totally different style/flava than his younger brother Johnny. I haven´t seen Francisco dance yet but I imagine his style´s quite unique also.

[Xtreme Salsa]

Francisco Vasquez is one of my favortie dancers. He's flashier and faster than Luis IMO but not as smooth. And his quadruple+ spins are sweet
