View Full Version : Live-stream NADB Limburg Danst, Geleen, The Netherlands

A little more then 2 hours ago a national comp in Geleen, The Netherlands, started with medalists classes Int'l Standard. Right now the medalists classes Int'l Latin are in progress. Around 4:00pm local time (California: 7:00am, New York: 10:00am) the adult classes Int'l Standard start and around 7:00pm local (Cal: 10:00am, NY: 1.00pm) Int'l Latin begins.

Not very exeptional, BUT...... you can watch this comp live on the internet!!

Interesting.... just saw a bit of what looked to be the equivalent of novice or prechamp standard. I think more competitions should do this kind of thing.

One part of what's interesting in watching this is seeing the dance program of another country at it's "work in progress" point rather than in terms of the more complete couples you would see in the video of a world event, and also to see dancers who are working hard at that point of development as adults rather than as children. You start to see different mixes of emphasis - skills that look to be there 'early' compared to practice here, and others that seem to be surprisingly still missing in comparison to the other aspects of the dancing.
