I was just out on the web, googling ballroom dance (surprise, surprise  ) when I came across a web site where you can download dance photos of top level ballroom dancers -- Blackpool, 2003, I believe.

What would you use such photos for? To appreciate the beauty? Because you're a major fan? To study/copy the poses and lines? Thoughts, anyone?

I know at my studio they have a bunch of such photos on the walls. Everytime I get my tango hold wrong, one teacher rushes over, grabs a bunch of sickeningly good pictures off the wall and says, "like this, like this, try to look like this"...

Then there's the need to Photoshop your face onto the bodies of the likes of Hanna Kartunen ...erm, or so I'm told... :)

As I said, SD, I've only HEARD of it, it's not something *I* would do personally, of course. :)

I would love a couple of ballroom / latin posters to decorate the walls of my home. Maybe beside the "brag" cabinet which I am yet to buy! But then, I'm just obsessed!
