I just heard it over the radio . . . a new dance . . . it's called "Foam Dancing."
I guess you get out on the dance floor with all the other dancers, and they pour beer and foam all over everyone . . . drink and dance, sip and slide . . . etc.
According to the news . . . it wasn't a very "safe" idea???

That's been going on in night clubs for years. They have 'foam parties' and it isn't beer...it is some type of synthetic artificial product that just makes lots of bubbles. People wear swimwear to dance in it.

Yes, I did this a couple of times a few years ago. It tends to get pretty wild, because the bubbles are about 3-4 feet high and all sorts of things happen down below the bubbles.

Yup. My former dance teacher used to do that fairly often. "Suds and studs" night at the local gay bar. I've never tried anything remotely like it, but my old teacher recommended it highly. Of course, he loved the occasional lapse into debauchery. LOL.

I take it that some individuals were not just blowing bubbles?

I've never done this myself, but I definitely want to try it out sometime! And Vince these sort of foam parties have been going on for a long time.

First there's complaining about kids grinding on the dance floor. Now they're having fun foaming around. I should consider a foam ballroom dance, although it would be near impossible to run something like that. Difficult enough keeping proper friction on the floor... 8)

I'd say, if you didn't have wood floors (which you do), I'd go for it.
I could think of some pretty neat ways to intorduce the foam . . . balloons filled with foam . . . a foam fire house . . . wow, and foam T'shirt contests

I'm assuming one takes off one's dance shoes(or any leather footwear they value) during these parties...Sounds fun! I guess the same thing used to be done involving mud.

"Only" the shoes come off . . .????????????????????????
Doesn't sound like much of a "fun" dance to me . . .
