I am trying to take better pictures of the gown, but this is what I have so far. I cannot model it because it is too large for me. (Please note there is a sleeve for the left arm with heavy stoning and small spiral georgette float. It is not pictured.)

Estimated Maximum Measurements for a Flattering Fit:
Bust: 44"
Waist: 34"
Hips: 40"

Price is $750 but negotiable within reason. I need to recoup the expense of original purchase as well as for restoration.

I purchased this gown online only to realize it swallowed me. It is very beautiful but the torso is impossibly tall for me. The dress appeared well taken care of before I received it but some work needed to be done. The dress has been cleaned and completely restoned. It is ready for wear unless the buyer needs to make alterations.

I estimate this dress has about 40 gross of Swarovski crystals in various sizes and colors. The bodice is made of nice stretch mesh. The skirt has two layers of georgette that are sprinkled with AB crystals, with a large band of stoning that extends to the floor on the front and the back. I cannot find the name of the designer but this dress is very classic and beautiful and very well made.

This dress will be available for try-on at the USA Dance South Central Regional Championships and also at the Louisiana Challenge. I've posted a notice here, on ballroomdancers.com, created a listing on e-crater, and am shopping it around locally.

Thank you! :)

That's the first time I've seen close-ups of something like this and I've never seen one in person. Wow. Pretty amazing.

Thank you! :D

I hope to find it a happy home soon. It is a classic design and was sad to see there was no real way for me to wear it.

I hope to get better pictures of it soon. Right now I feel the pictures make it look sort of, sleepy.

Just wanted to add that I am taking offers on other dresses as well.

This was worn once before the zipper broke. (I tried it on for the first time before going out for exhibition (Yes yes, I know, I know, stupid!) and as I pulled the zipper up I noticed that... it wasn't zipping! So everybody in the dressing room had great fun helping pin me into it.) I kept meaning to get it fixed, but it just sat in the closet for so long... then it seemed every place I called said, "Daey, we dun fix teh hidden zippers." (What other types of zippers ARE there?) Anyway...

I am taking offers! Please PM them to me. This dress is more suited for somebody around 5'4". Stretches up to about a size 8, probably more, but I don't think the fit would be flattering. Here are some pics.

All stoning is Korean - Mostly the color of crystal AB, the rest are the color of Sun. The bodice is 4 way stretch lycra, the sleeves stretch mesh, and the skirt two layers of lemon yellow georgette. One thing I like about this dress is it converts from American Smooth to Standard with the choker with attached floats. (Featured in picture of front of dress.)

A great, low maintenance dress for dancers just getting started in competition and exhibition.

Re: Periwinkle Gown
I have a try-on scheduled this weekend, but I still welcome offers until I know it is sold.

Just wanted to say I don't have a definite answer from the potential buyer yet, so I will be bringing the Periwinkle gown with me to the Regionals in Baton Rouge this weekend. Price is $750 but negotiable within reason. I need to recoup the expense of original purchase as well as for restoration.

I'm packing tonight so, if you're going to be there and are interested in some DVDs or jewelry, check the link to my ballroomjewelry shop and PM me what you would like for me to bring. With no PayPal fees and no shipping fees, you will save money. :)

The person who tried on the gown said it was too big for them. So, it is available for try-on. Again, the price is negotiable.

Thanks!

I was asked to provide the shoulder to hem measurement for this gown - fifty-five inches.

The gown is still available, though I am in communication with a couple of potential buyers. (The small Latin one is no longer available.)

I want to clarify that this is an American Smooth gown and that it does not come with a larger float for standard. There seemed to be some confusion there.

I am taking close-up pictures of the gauntlet and can include them here later, if anybody is interested.
