Hey
I think the level in USA goes Bronze, Silver, Gold (which are syllabus) Novice, Prechamp, Champ (which are open choreography)
Here in Australia it goes, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Level 1 (which are syllabus) Level 2, 3, 4, 5 (which are open choreography).
This could be inaccurate, but from YouTube videos, the syllabus dancers' standards in USA are higher than that of syllabus level in Australia. Also pre-champ and champ are excellent.
So I wonder how do the levels correlate between USA and Australia. I think the Aussies here may know more about the levels! But have a look at YouTube for Australia dancing if you are uncertain. http://www.youtube.com/user/martinpoel
