Hi just wanted to ask if anyone has heard of the alexander technique if so what are their impressions of it does it work? Or is it a load of bull?

Hey MvM! And welcome! :D

While Pygmalion retrieves the thread, yes I've done Alexander (a long time ago), and no it isn't hooey. It was one of the things that helped me with stage movement, relaxation, and vocal stuff long before I started dancing ballroom. People who have been dancing all of their lives, or have a lot of experience in the so-called "soft" martial arts (various styles of kung fu and aikido) will probably find Alexander similar to what they have already done. If you've never had any movement training as such, it's pretty useful.

Did you know that there's a whole alexander technique website? Pretty cool, and it answers lts of questions.
