If you are willing to relocate, this could be a great opportunity for someone: http://www.google.com/jobs/lunar_job.html

I would apply, except I am not an engineer

You should check out their job postings. If you can move to Mountainview, CA, there are a lot of openings for everything from administrative assistant to engineer. I'm holding out for a job at "answers at google." You get paid to work from home and research answers to various questions on the internet. Hmm. Why does that sound familiar?

Really? Hey that's only a few hours away from me...you could move here Pygmalion...and then go dancing with all the No. Cal DF people. Vince is fairly close to there as well. 8)

And talk about a Google fix! :D

When I posted that, I didn't realize that David's was a joke. A funny one, at that.

My post was serious. Anybody looking for a job in California should go take a look. Google is a major corporation these days, and they're hiring folks from the top of their organization to the bottom, and not all techies. At least they were when I checked thier site a couple weeks ago.

I wish relocation was in the plan for me. Sadly, it's not, or I'd already be on the west coast. 8) Right now, I'm within a six hour drive from my elderly (don't tell them I said that LOL) parents, so I'm staying east. Ya gotta do what ya gotta do. :)

I totally bypassed the joke part as well.  Their are some good positions there though. :)

I understand completely Pygmalion! I orginally planned to relocate some years back, but I stayed close by my family to help support them during these past few years which have been rather difficult.

I will take a look at that website...working for Google would be fun I bet. ;)

What is my incentive not to tell

April 1.

It pays to always keep ones eye out for opportunities out there, rather then just letting yourself be stuck in a rut, even if it is a good one. :)
