Interesting that Katee and Joshua are back together?

Also interesting that Katee has yet again gotten contemporary. Seems she gets it every week. Of course, Chelsea seems to get a ballroom dance nearly every week too. The non-random nature of drawing things out of the hat just seems more obvious this year than usual.

Katee with the Paso. This should be good!

Reminder that tonight's show starts at 9pm. The 8pm hour is a repeat of last week's results show. With only 6 dancers left, I guess they didn't have enough filler for 2 hours. :D

VW- I love that song, been wanting an excuse to do a VW to it.:) Beautiful choreography too! And a nice job by both, especially Mark. Very beautiful.

Chelsea's solo- her best so far.

Twitch's solo- so musical, so cute. And have I mentioned lately how much I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE Cat? She's the supportive big sister/favorite aunt all rolled into one. She would have gum. (Obscure "Friends" reference.)

Contemporary- Is there a week that Katee hasn't gotten contemporary? But beautiful. And Joshua lifts women like I lift a pencil.

Mambo- Great. Like Comfort, she's so much better choreographed than in her solos. Loved the practice footage. "Where's the 1 and the 5?" is something I've asked many a time.:) In my "Is there a week?" theme, Is there a week that poor Chelsea hasn't had some sort of wardrobe malfunction?

Katee- different from the typical angsty contemporary girl solo, but I just didn't like the musicality to it. But that's probably just my lack of love for Katee talking.

Joshua- love him. Just love him. Very musical, and just so adaptable.

Jazz- Never liked Sonya's choreography before, but I liked this. It really played on their strengths, especially Mark's. It was everything I love about Mark. And Courtney was great in this too.

Paso- first off, love Katee's practice dress, actually like it much better than the performance one. Hated the camera work, kept cutting to where I didn't want to look. Fabulous choreography, don't think they pulled it off as well as the judges thought though. Of course, Joshua was shirtless, and that could've been distracting them or me.:)

Courtney- typical angsty contemporary girl routine, but more musical than Katee's.

Mark- Love him, just love him. Love the quirkiness.

Hiphop- I liked it. Will Twitch realize he said, "I'm going to get the stick in the end."?? Will I realize I have the brain of a 12 year old boy at times?

Courtney and Mark were great, but they didn't have the vote inducing dances. So my guess is they'll be the ones going home. But it's such a great final 6, who knows?

Didn't like Katee's Paso. Joshua definitely outdanced her there. She wasn't grounded enough and didn't really capture the correct stance. Too soft. He was very solid.

Regardless of who leaves, I think I'll be a little sad about it. It's a pretty strong Top 6.

although i enjoyed the piece, i felt like it didnt have enough "moments". like, i was on edge waiting for an opportunity to clap, but the single cool moves never came. the overall coolness was there though.

i loved her practice dress tooooo! the choreographer made comment of katee being the cape in the piece, but they didnt actually go with that. :-( i thought the music was stronger than the performance on this one, and that josh was much stronger than katee.

Watched the show this morning before work. Loved (Contemporary, Jazz and Hip Hop) or liked (Paso, VW) everything except for the mambo and for the reason that Nigel stated: Twitch's missed connection and how obvious it was. Chelsie of course was solid but this is her genre and we expect her to shine in it.

I think Sonya's addition to the show this year sort of fills the void left by Wade's departure to work with Cirque du Soleil and Criss Angel. Loved her routine last night. It was dark, twisted, sexy and hot.

To echo Nigel's comment, I love how this show spotlights the choreographers. :D

So Katee and Joshua being saved first weren't a surprise...

Mark leaving wasn't a surprise...

Chelsie and Courtney was a tossup.... though i'd prefer to see Chelsie over Courtney....

Three out of Four ain't bad =P

Ahhh, I just love them all. I think at this point it's really toss-up. I think in the end it's going to be Joshua or Twitch winning. Katee might pull a second place but I doubt it.

No ballroomers in this top 4, unlike Season 2 and 3. ;) Love Chelsie (she grew on me every week) but love Courtney slightly more. :D

I was *thrilled* when Courtney was announced for the top 4. Sort of makes up for my Season 2 fave, Allison, being cut too early in the comp as Courtney reminds me of her in looks and talent (taking on each routine, nailing it and/or bringing their style into it).

Was torn over Twitch and Mark as I adore both. They are both incredible in their solos and have turned in impressive work in their partner routines so I would've been happy with either making it. Congrats, Twitch. :D

The top six all have strengths and I like see any of them dance. Hate to see another couple go. Mark or Twitch, it could have gone either way and I would still be happy for the winner and disappointed for the loser.

And the worst thing is each couple out is two less routines the following week. Makes me wish they could use a point system for the last part of the season so we could see the top 6 or top 10 dancers continue all the way to the final show, as suggested before.

Like the rest of you, I'm both happy and sad about the final 4. Only one more week left!

And the worst thing is each couple out is two less routines the following week.Actually between the semi and final of the season there are six routines and one solo per person.

In past finals the final four had to dance one routine with each of the other dancers plus one group dance with all four and a solo.

So each dancer is dancing five bits total (3 duets, 1 group + 1 solo) in the final.

Then the results night is all the fav routines of the season (more like what you are bound to see on the tour) and the fav routines are dependent on what the judges, producers, audience members liked the most but with the original dancers dancing them (whileas on the tour there could be some swapping around depending on the order fo dances and what not).

Dan Karaty and Mary Murphy comment on last week's performances. Dan doesn't hold back either which you'll either like or dislike.
