Okay, so what's your favorite flavor of ice cream, and what dance does it make you think of? (Even though "Dancers Anonymous" is supposed to be about something other than dance--I had to slip in a connection!)
Mine--Chocolate Raspberry Truffle, and it definitely makes me think of rumba, so fluid and undulating, rich, decadent and innocent at the same time....
Mmmmmmmm!

And if I refuse?
Cookies and cream is my current love. I can't say that I would say that it is the ice cream equivalent of salsa though

Mine is cookie dough. I guess it makes me think of dancing in general; cool and delicious.

I love Jelly Tip. If you're not a kiwi you might not know it, but it's vanilla ice cream with swirls of raspberry jelly (that's jell-o to you NAs out there, not jam) and little chocolate flakes all through it. It's positively divine, and reminds me of ... hmm ... slow fox. A combination of textures: a little bit smooth, a little bit crunchy, creamy here and gooey there. I have no idea why that reminds me of slow foxtrot.

Jelly Tip--that sounds divine. Can you get that anywhere in the northern hemisphere? :o :?

After much deliberation (right ;) )
My favorite flavor is CCCD (choc chip cookie dough), but I usually am not reminded of dancing because of it. I suppose I would prefer for the purposes of this discussion a nice raspberry sorbet (smooth and *******ing) for most of my normal dancing, or a creamy white chocolate with LOTS of whipped cream so I can imagine floating on the clouds as I dance VW.
Any of you amateur psychologists can draw your own conclusions. ;)

Chocolate and peanut butter, but ANY ice cream will suffice on any day at any time.
For those of you with "odd" tastes . . . and still on topic . . .

I like the simple flavours. My favourite is vanilla. Oh yeah, and it reminds me of salsa (like everything else of course).

Anytime for you Jonathan . . . and besides, those flavors can't be any worse than some of the local flavors around Central CA . . . asparagus ice cream, garlic ice cream, and don't forget re-fried ice cream!!!

I lived in Japan for 2 years and it's amazing what those people will eat! I lived in Hokkaido, home of "corn ice cream" - but I never tried or even saw any! The most adventurous I ever got was green tea (a.k.a. grass) flavour and that was bad enough. :| I can vouch for the sweet potato ice-cream though, it's an Okinawa specialty and is actually quite nice. Fortunately, they do have Hagen Daaz, Ben and Jerry's and Baskin Robbins in Japan so it wasn't a total loss. I fell in love with Ben and Jerry's Sweet Lava Java while I was there - we don't have those ice cream brands at all here in NZ.

According to their website (www.tiptop.co.nz), Tip Top is exported to Japan (but is not responsible for any of those nasty flavours!), the South Pacific, Australia, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Taiwan, United Kingdom and Russian Far East. I guess all of those are a bit far to go for an ice-cream though. It'd probably be a bit melted by the time you got home.
