Dancesportinfo announced ( http://www.dancesportinfo.net/Articles/5962.aspx ) that both Christopher Hawkins and Justyna Hawkins and Timothy Howson and Joanne Bolton have split. Chris Hawkins and Joanne Bolton have formed a new partnership.

I knew a good while ago that Chris and Justyna had split, just after Blackpool, but I only heard about the new partnership yesterday as obviously a show Timmy and Jo were due to do got cancelled.

Will be pretty interesting to see!

But will they dancing at it? Not that going to the International isn't worth it in and of itself (and I just checked and I can get a free plane ticket :) ), but I'd hate to spend the miles and not end up seeing them. Although London never disappoints :)

I seem to recall Tim not dancing the last Blackpool or two due to injury. Sometimes the body just says 'no more.' And Justyna didn't dance Blackpool this year due to injury.

I've heard Justyna couldn't dance blackpool because of she needed bunion surgery.

Chris & Joanne is a good combination and probably they could be ready for International. Usually top couples need very short amount of time to train to dance together. should be very interesting to watch!

Ah, I knew it was a foot-related thing. I'm still thinking about going to the International...it's so tempting...Larinda is delightfully evil for suggesting it :)...but then there's Hotlanta...too many choices!

International should be absolutely fantastic . . . all the new couples who weren't ready for Blackpool will hopefully be there . . . and plus there's the Night of 100 Stars on the Monday of that week which is one of the best nights of my whole year . . . you should definitely do it if you can!

London England, in October. All the best seats are sold out for the final night, but I'll be happy to be anywhere in the venue. You can get tickets off of the Royal Albert Hall web site. Preliminaries are in Brentwood, I think it's easier to get tickets for that.

I need to talk to TS...if we do a mid-October comp, then no International, but if not...well, it's just so darn tempting! I love London, and it's going to be glorious in October.

At the moment I have awful seats, right at the back, but my teachers know someone who have bought a whole box for like, 2 people . . . so hopefully I can get a little bit closer to the action! I have tickets for both days at Brentwood as well, like 3rd and 4th rows, so that should be amazing!

Isnt' Chris shorter than Tim, though? I always thought that Tim and Joanne did not look as good as they should be, because of their height difference.

Dancesport info now reposts that Chris and Joanne will not compete together. It does not say anything about their future plans.

Just to be clear, we don't condone gossip here at DF. If anyone can point us to a reliable source of information that's fine (such as "Dancesport info now reports..."), but "I/my friend/etc. heard..." is never OK here.

There is likely to be another announcement that is equally exciting regarding one of these two dancers, so keep your eyes out. ;)
