The single pieces for the tandas you posted before (http://www.dance-forums.com/showthread.php?t=27630) are traditionel orientated. I´m interested in your borderline tunes near the end of the milonga?
Mine are:
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds: Do you love me
Nick Cave & Kylie Minogue: Where the wild roses grow
Portishead: Glory Box
Tom Waits: Waltzing Matilda
Leonard Cohen: Take this Waltz
Ewan McGregor: El Tango De Roxanne
Pascal Comelade: Tango Del Rosselló
Yann Thiersen: Plus d´hiver
You can find most of them at youTube. I´m looking foreward to your treasures.

I found that you prefer rather an easy-going tendency whilst I would favor the dark and melancholic attitude.
I forgot another one I usually play from two ó clock on:
Tinderstick´s Another Night (http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=9ZEwEUeSVFA)
Kinda OT, but for unconventional cortina music... I found some great danceable tracks on a fun CD called "Gardel Martini." Basically many tango songs were taken and transformed into beguine and samba. It's great fun to play "Por Una Cabeza," Samba style! Believe it or not, it actually works. Definitely turns some heads and some people do try to dance to it. That or... they stand there, scratching their heads, wondering just what exactly went wrong in their pretty little tango world...
