Hotlanta Rising Star Newcomers Ball

hi everyone...there is a "socially-oriented" competition that is run in conjunction with the Hotlanta Dance Challenge. It's the Rising Star Newcomers' Ball (RSNB) and you can elect to compete either against other dancers or against a grade. The whole purpose of the comp is for the students/teachers/competitors, everyone to have a fun, friendly atmosphere without the stress of the high-level comps. This RSNB competition was started by Eddie Ares about 2 years ago and there is going to be a complete series of comps just like this starting next year...let me know if you want more info :)

Interesting. Is that primarily a pro/am event or a couples one?

I would say probably Pro/Am primarily, but I'm not sure. I will ask Eddie and let you guys know a/b the a couples attendance for the last couple of years...
