View Full Version : Ballroom Dancing in Milwaukee

Hi I am from Milwaukee WI. I would like to know if anyone has any suggestions for International Standard and Latin dance instructors in the milwaukee area. I am interested in group and/or individual lessons. I have previous ballroom dancing experience and would like to train for competitions.
Also would anyone know how to get started on getting certified to become a dance instructor?

There are several good studios in Milwaukee, one of the best being East Towne ballrooms, owned by Marty Voight, who trains many good competitive dancers as well as sometimes training instructors.

i adore Martin Cawston though I don't know where he is now...he used to be at east towne

Martin Cawston is another great coach. He's still in Milwaukee, but at a new studio called Delaware House. I've really enjoyed it when he coached with my partner and me, and he also teaches great group classes.

lcdancesport works at studio in Milwaukee area too. Not sure of what they have in regards to international/latin though, will let her answer that herself. :)

Hi Everyone,

Sorry for the silence.....it's been a while since I last logged on to dance forums. Thanks everyone for the info and insights to my post. Since then i have "lost myself in dancing" at Delaware House with Neil Hollingworth :) He's a great teacher for International Standard and Latin.
FYI - Martin Cawston also teaches at Delaware house !!

I sent you a message, so I hope you got it. We're also a dance studio in the Milwaukee area. I know Neil and Marty as well. We teach standard and latin, have group classes and social dances. I suggest you check us out, we get a lot of referrals here!
