Not certain what type of description you desire; step list, overall pattern, technical breakdown, intent...?

Just the steps. I'm pretty sure the back whisk start with a left back step. But then is the right step forward or back, and does the left foot end up hooked behind the right as in the basic whisk?
And for the weave, same question. Which directions do the steps go?
For the back whisk, the second step isn't really a step, it's more of a hesitation. You just close your feet and turn.

kathryn schaffer once told me to think of it as a lock that doesn't turn
edit...er um...opposite...think of it as a lock that DOES turn
P&B, back whick is man's L foot back in cbmp (TH), R foot diagonally back (T), and then LF crosses behind RF ending in promenade (TH). Not sure what a "back weave" is--perhaps you mean "basic weave" (starts in closed), or "weave from promenade"... can you confirm what you want here?

? Close your feet? Turn?

But the back whisk does turn for you (as a lady)...? And a lock does not turn, unless you're talking about a turning lock...? We are talking about a back whisk, yes?
