To non writers,
The art of communication is the single most important faculty humans have. I have decided to share a method to help develop this faculty that has helped me, without ever taking courses in writing or joining any debating clubs; and be assured it will improve your undiscovered talent at your leisure in a convenient and enjoyable way: Because this method is so simple, it may seem ineffective, but try it for a week and see if it doesn't stimulate your interest in becoming a better communicator. The secret is contained in one simple sentence:
" Write a sentence or two every day and Email it to www.dance-forums@dance-forums.com !"
You sentence could be a question or introduce yourself or tell us your favorite dance and why, your favorite song or social event or send in your vote for 'the Magic Pill' or give your opinion about any posted commentary you find in Dance Forums. One sentence begins your journey into a world of self expression that will bring you untold emotional and social benefits. You can even be anonymous if you wish.
Write that one or two sentences a day for a week, and discover a gratifying talent you may not have been aware of. I started writing letters to friends, who almost never answered, but I still kept writing those letters. And since I started this letter writing ritual in 1972, I ended up writing over 30 full length (100 pages or more) books on a variety of subjects. And I started at age 49.
