GR's post about his teachers idea to put a slogan on a t-shirt as advertising has me wondering..

Do any of you wear slogan T's?

I have to admit to owning and weariing quite a few....and ashamedly I have to say that none are dance related :?
Some are funny, some a little naughty.

My favorite one at the moment reads "Im not as bad as everyone says I am. I'm much much worse"

I love wearing T-shirts with any kind of Salsa slogan. It breaks the ice when I'm in class. I have a few that say "Got Salsa", "Salsera" & some with my website name. Pretty cool. :P

I saw this one a couple of years ago: "Wanna salsa...?" in front & "Just kidding! signed: Salsa Snob" on the back   .

*it was eerily fitting to the wearer  *

I am in the process of doing one. This dancer (he's from one of the show groups) affectionately calls me a "Salsa Stalker"  , coz I'm always on the lookout for a partner to dance the next song with (not as easy as it sounds when you live in a leader-short city  ) & I am pretty determine to dance at least once with some of my favourites!

So I bought a t-shirt that says "Stalker". Got white puff paint. By the time I'm done it'd read "Salsa Stalker.......I won't give up......." in front ".......'til I get that dance...!" on the back  !

That sounds like me ... these days I do a lot more asking than being asked. That's the only way I can get enough dances to calm my salsa cravings. May I have permission to plagiarise?

I probably shouldn't admit this...ah, but what the hell.

When I was a teenager my mother bought me a pack of underwear on the front of which (across the..ahem..crotch) were the words "I need all the friends I can get"

I don't think she quite understood the inuendo.

Thats so cute!

One of my T-shirts reads "You're on my list of things to do tonight"

Also have another that reads "They're real and they're spectacular" ... that one always gets giggles!

Not a 'slogan' but I saw a baby vest on the weekend which said:

If you think I am cute, you should see my aunt!

I almost bought it for my nephew

I don't have many t-shirts...however, one I wear that most people find humor in is black with what looks like chalk-writing across the chest which says...

"I must not tease the boys.
I must not tease the boys.
I must not tease the boys.
I must not tease the boys."

When I wear it, it is fun to act nonchalant like I have no idea what my shirt says. I get some great laughs with that one. ;)

I have a similar one.

"I will not kiss the boys.
I will not kiss the boys.
............
Unless I am provoked."

I wore it with my cargos/khakis in hang-with-the-posse mode with my muso guy friends    .

I've created several slogan T-shirts myself and am working a dance-related (specifically swing) slogans:

"HYPERKINETIC" in white bold letters on a black T-shirt is what I'm leaning towards now...

Any more suggestions here? :D

My very attractive daughter has a crop t-shirt that I love but her boyfriend hates (mostly cause it true) - it says "Don't hate me because I'm beatiful - hate me because your boyfriend thinks so."

Have well over 2 hundred Harley-Davidson T's . . . assorted Chevrolet-related T's . . . assorted Fender (guitar) T's . . . many, many dance-venue shirts and T's, but my favorite is the "Dance Because You Can" T's, which support MS. We (the dancers) support it at every UCWDC event - donations, crazy fund raisers, auctions, etc.

If you think about that phrase for a moment . . . it may inspire you to dance as often while the ability to do so is still with you!

Google the phrase if you want to know more about it!

Can one infer that you are:
a) a Harley-Davidson fan
b) Chevrolet fan
c) Fender (guitar) fan
d) all of the above
e) all the T-shirts are black
f) another reason? :D
