my school is having a performing arts night that the dance team is holding.. its where anyone can come and show their talents...kinda like a talent show only no awards..and i was the captain of the dance team this year but i had t give it up to my friend due to breaking my ankel for the 2 time within a year and a half, so i couldnt get the dance down and teach it to the team in time for the show....however my foot is better now and the show is in a week and a half. i could teach myself a dance in that amount of time and do it for the show...but i dont want it to seem like im showing up my team...should i do a dance at the show or should i wait for next year when i can dance with the team..?? i dont want the team to feel bad :(

Hi l2d--

How did you manage to break your ankle twice? Has it not healed properly? I'd say that your main concern should be safety--check with your orthopedist about the advisability of dancing following your recovery. If your doctor gives you a clean bill of health, I don't see why you shouldn't dance. 8)

hi GR
yes, the first time i broke it it did not heal correctly at all, but they thought it would be fine to dance again until i broke it the second time...my foot is good now the docter def. gave me the ok..but im just not sure if i should for the team..i just dont want it to look like i didnt teach them the dance casue i wanted it for myself...and i only hope something doesnt go wrong up on stage..
