I am looking for unusual dancesport photography preferably in black and white.
I mean by unusual here is unusual angle or take so not just a 'normal' competiton picture.
Anyone know where I can find it ?
Thanks !

Well, there's dancespecific.com - which kinda merges art, dancesport, and fashion into one.
Then there's the photos I did with my ex :-D -

Not at all. In fact, I'd be rather honoured if our photos ended up on people's wallpapers :D

All three are really great. My favorite is number 2.

Doing a "proper" photo shoot was so much fun. I'd love to do another sometime. :)

I'll not lie - that's my favourite too :p. On the day of the shoot - we hadn't actually discussed that costume, and my partner comes out of the change room in her underwear and my exact words were - "um, you missed something." Then I felt rather stupid :p
On a more serious note - I highly recommend anyone in a close dance partnership go get some photos done. Don't go to a glamour photographer - you'll pay a fortune more than you need to. You're better off doing a google search for an independent studio photographer, or even a final-year photography student looking to build a portfolio in your area.
It won't be nearly as expensive as you might imagine (my partner and I got 100 photos out of our shoot, and it cost us a grand total of $650 Australian, which included make up and studio space).
The result is you'll have some nice photos to remind yourself of the partnership better than "on the comp floor" photos ever will, and the 4-5 hour long photo shoot, and getting the costumes organised together, and the whole process in general is just so much fun.
The downside is - every time I see these photos I realise I really miss that partnership :-?
