For those of you who have attended a Congress/Weekender/Festival - how do you handle the "post event depression"? You have looked forward so long to an event, it comes, it goes and then [fill in the blank  ]
I have another project already  which is a bit more personal ie. revolves around me for a change  but it still feels a bit strange now that it is finished - until next time. :D Ah! The memories. Ah!!! The photos

My first semester or so, I used to alwasy get a cold/sick etc the day after a comp. I thought it was mostly just depression from not doing well and all.
Then there was a comp where I did do well, was very happy, and promptly got even more sick than usual. Go figure.
It hasn't been as much of a problem more recently.
Coping? Watch the videos, call up friends and keep in touch, make plans to do another ASAP.
I caught a cold during the Vancouver Congress, but that's because I pushed myself too much.
And like Chris, I'll cope by planning out the next trip/vacation!

Do you get that hungover feeling? I think it has to do with the huge adrenaline rush the day of, followed by a huge crash the day after. :?
