I have just alot of curiousity for the Proffessional couples (the ones that are "famous" in the latin dance world, like Michael & Joanna, Riccardo & Yulia etc)
Those that still compete on world champion level..
So hope you dont mind but im gonna ask a bunch of questions that i have been wondering about, maybe somebody knows...

How often do the Pro couples change competition routines?
How many hours a week do they train you think?
Do all of them make their living by teaching dance or they have other "jobs"? (cause im sure just competing dosent really make a living)
Do they compose their own competition routines or their coach helps them?
When they train, what do they actually practise? Cause they are allready almost perfect their dancing it self, so im really curious what they actually need to practise?

Then im also a bit curious of all the re-tired World champion level dancers like Allan, Serena, Brian, Carmen, Gaynor, Paul Killick etc...
Do they still dance? Or they do only teaching? Do all of them only teach or they got other types of Jobs after re-tireing from dancing?
Do they still do some kind of showdancing?

Im very curious, maybe anyone knows?

I selected this Q because it has a short answer.. majority are in constant demand world wide for coaching , adjudicating( and sometimes, dems )... there have been a few instances, in high profile world class dancers, where the lady has opted out of the teaching side of things after retirement, but , as a general rule , their income is substantially enhanced by the partnership.

There also comes a time when travel on a regular basis becomes too demanding , and many have very successful businesses in the various countries in which they reside .
