A lady went into a London store a few days ago and bought 10,000 bars of Mars chocolate, which was given to her "chauffeur" to carryout to the car.
 The speculation has been either she was arabic/lebanese OR a publicity stunt by the Mars manufacturer.
Have you ever heard of anything like this before? Do you think it was a stunt or "for real"

Sorry. I didn't answer the questions. Who knows if it's for real? But I can tell you, since I've lived in the tourist capital of the world for the past ten years, that it could be real. I've seen wealthy tourists and/or entrepreneurs from wealthy South American, Asian and European countries buying shopping carts (do you know what they are?* ) full of shoes, electronics, jeans, sweaters, you name it.
The tourists come in droves, buy things at full price, then go home, and sell them at an incredible mark-up. Pretty smart, if you ask me. 10,000 candy bars is conceivable.
* Shopping carts used to be strictly American, so please bear with me while I explain. They are large metal prams/buggies about a third the width of a kitchen table, and half a meter to 1 meter deep, in which you place items you're about to buy while you shop.

Thanks. When they first came here, my friends from a European country that shall remain nameless were fascinated by the things. Apparently, at home, most of the shopping is in small, Mom and Pop stores. No need for trolleys/carts/buggies there. 8)

Not since Wonka decided to retire and put a golden ticket in six of his Wonka bars....
Maybe she is a rich woman who just spent the last 6 months in a fat farm and is going off the wagon in styyyyle!
(or maybe she lived in the same gated community as martha stewart, if you know what I mean haha)
