I'm having a problem with the board, only since I got a new computer. I log in, and go to reply to a post, but when I attempt to submit my reply, it takes me to a log in screen and requires me to log in again. Somtimes this works and sometimes not. Occasionally, I'll just get stuck on a white screen.

I had this trouble with another board unrelated to Dance Forums a year or 2 ago, and I gave up going there since I would have to do this silly dance EVERY time I tried to submit a post (even if I had just done it 5 minutes earlier for a previous post) That forum had a 20 minute time out on your log in without activity, but it would happen to me even if only 2 or 3 minutes had gone by. At that time, that was the only internet forum I had trouble with. Now on this computer, THIS is the only forum I'm having trouble with. I have to copy my posts to the clipboard in case I get dumped somehwhere in this silly process of logging in over and over, and lose my post.

For the record, I'm running Firefox for the first time. Previously on this forum I was always going through aol as my browser. ANy ideas?

It sounds like the browser is not saving "cookies".

Make the menu selections: Tools -> Options... -> Privacy
Then check the settings for Cookies.

use reply to thread instead of quick reply (seems to me the quick reply is where the trouble is)

anyone else with insight?

That's my guess. Browsers (like IE and Firefox) can be set to reject all cookies, accept all cookies, but only until the browser is shut down, accept all cookies forever and variations of the above based on inclusion and accpetance lists for individual sites.
