Hey guys, after a couple of weeks out of the office I'm back and able to update you on my dancing for the last couple of weeks.
I now have 11 days until my big rumba performance and things are going well. If I can get my fast spins happening consistently, all should flow smoothly on the night!! :D We have dress rehearsals this weekend, so any final adjustments to costumes should be complete after that.
I also had my second exam this past weekend, Intermediate Bronze level and passed with a score of 92 which is an A.
All is going really well. Will take some time to catch up on all the comments made on here since I last logged on, but will try to catch up over the next couple of days.
:D :D :D :D

Wow, only 11 days! Good luck to you! I'm sure you'll turn out great! Just remember; even if we DFites can't be there in person, we're all cheering you on! 8)
Keep up your hard work!

Thanks Sakura. I have definitely missed reading and posting on these forums. If I continue to have to spend time out of the office, I may need to look at getting the internet on at home!

Only 10 days to go now (but who's counting ....... ). :D
 :D Obviously, *you* are. =^__^= And hey, if worse comes to worse, and your choreography for your Rhumba disappears from the confines of your brain, you and your partner can start doing the "Time Warp" right?! (Heh, heh... Sorry! I'm listening to the soundtrack for The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Greatest movie ever! =^__^=  8) )
You'll do great; we all know it, and you do too! And when you finish, you can come back and regale us with stories about it! :D Be calm, D_F! *hugs*

Thanks again Sakura. I'm going to shout myself a night's accommodation in the hotel the ball is being held so that I can relax and prepare myself for the night, and not be bothered trying to race around, get stuck in traffic, etc, etc.
My instructor has already given me some stories of people forgetting their routine and just adlibbing! Quite funny, and good to know that they kept their heads enough to do something rather than just stand there! There was also one he told me he had to physically drag her out onto the floor! Once she got going she was OK though. All I can do is what I can do on the day. If I forget something, so be it. Though it has been me reminding him from time to time of the routine, not the other way around!
I'll take the Aussie attitude of "she'll be right mate"! :D :D

Hey, it's what I'm here for! Lots of reassurance, and awful jokes in the face of adversity! :D That's a good idea! =^_^= I never would have thought of doing something like that... Acutally... Hmm!
Ooh, the intelligence of women and memory proved again! =^_~=
And it's a good attitude to take! A *very* good one! :D You Aussies have some great attitudes! (*grins* My DI (Destination Imagination) group's coach/manager grew up in Australia; I'll have to ask him where for you, and see if it was close to you, but he's an *awesome* guy! I wuv him! 8) )
