Hey folks, my coach Georgia Ambrian and her partner Eric Luna will be dancing Tuesday night on the results show on DWTS. Let me know what you think. They danced last year and were tremendous. We're so proud!:D:D

I would guess their regular TA/Cabaret number?
And yeah, there's a definite reason they're 2008 national champions. :) Those two are amazing.

Even better. been wondering if they might be working on something new, but even though we have Bruno in with some regularity, I don't figure it's any of my business to ask. Even if I really want to know. :)

That will be a treat!
We saw them at Eastern Dancesport Championships in Boston. They were AMAZING!
Do you take lessons from them in TA, or one of the other styles?

Are they going to be dancing as part of Macy's Stars of Dance segment?
Or maybe during songs from musical guests Natasha Bedingfield and musical group Celtic Woman?

They will be dancing during one of the singers performs. That's all I know, it was just announced last Thurs. We are an amateur couple. Most of our pros were in Las Vegas last weekend, so details are sketchy. Cabaret is becoming BIG in our studio. We had two Pro/AM couples take 1st and 2nd in Vegas. It's fun to watch, but I'm way too old for that. lol

Heh, with the top two pr cabaret couples in country there, and Bruno and Luann through there regularly (based out of there?) I'd be disappointed it cabaret wasn't big there. :)

I caught the show last night, they were great. Lot's of nail-biting moments during some of those tricks. Cool stuff!

Yeah Merrylegs, I can't watch Cabaret the same way I watch smooth/rhythm/standard/latin. There i can enjoy it, and still watch for technical stuff. With TA/Cabaret, I go from biting nails to just being shocked and amazed.

I think I said "Whoah!" about 10 times during that routine. Dare devils I say!

Hi DancingShoes, I would never say that you are way too old to do that! Connie Bouchard & Gary Burgess, both of whom are in their 60s, dance as an AM/AM couple in the "Adult" category for both Theatre Arts and Cabaret. They were 2008 USA Dance Dance National Champions. LOL I used to do pairs figure skating so I guess I am not affected by the fear factor element anymore haha... I used to do that stuff with my brother going 30 mph down a solid sheet of ice while my parents would sit in the stands and try their best not to soil themselves!!! I love watching cabaret... I think probably because it reminds me of what I used to do but can't anymore because I am way too tall LOL... you have to be pretty tiny to have your partner be able to toss you around like that!!
