The European Commission today in a live conference were advising that it could turn into a pandemic. The British government is saying it will affect somewhere between 15% and 50% of the population and America is cautioning her people travelling to affected regions to keep a 6ft (1.82) distance from the locals. With a dance that is danced so close and with so many people in close proximity of each other how do you think it would affect milongas across the globe if what the EC say turns out to be true. If this virus were to take on a more sinister turn what would you do?

I don't plan on attending any milongas in Mexico anytime soon. As for anything else, I'll wait until we find out if this thing has any legs, or if it's just more media hype to sell newspapers.

"...if this thing has any legs". Ha, ha, ha. (Oh dear, I shouldn't laugh, considering...)

TA is a dance to get old with, and, the virus shows its greatest mortallity between 16 and 28 (due to an over-reaction of the immune system), so we are free to ...

So if I fall to the floor and grasp the lady's' foot in desperation while crying "dont leave dont leave!!" I may still be infected? I may have to change my behaviour at milongas then.... :p
