Prom is on Saturday... Videos?

Hey, I'm a newbie on these forums, which also kinda means I'm a newbie at dancing. I've never been to a high school dance before, and my prom is on the 22nd. It's getting very close, and I was wondering if anybody had any simple movies of kids dancing at a high school dance or anything. It would be a lot easier to watch somebody than to read how to do it.. I really don't want anybody to know I don't know how to dance, either. I just want to go there, have a good time, and not have people think of me as a complete newbie to this thing. I would really, really appreciate it if anybody out there could help me out with small movie files or anything... That would be awesome! Thanks!

Thanks for the vids... Hmm, is that what people do at high school dances, though? Got anything from a dance just like the one I'm going to? I live in southern California, so I'm guessing it's more of a club dance more than a classic ballroom dance...

If it's club you're after, of the three, bustamove.com can help you best. It has some very good hip hop clips, that I know for sure. Take a look.

The other two are probably less usefull for a freestyle/club environment. There are quite a few "leaning to club freestyle for the prom" type threads out here, too. It probably wouldn't hurt to skim through them (although I know what you mean. It's a lot easier with a video.)

Check out the club dancing index at the top og general dance discussion. They may not help you dance, but at least they're good for a laugh or two. :wink: :D
