thank you for posting this, rainerng! i had never seen this couple dance before. i like them very much. true soulful dancers, as opposed to some who are mechanically precise and very successful but...often lack the quality of really *dancing* together.

i love melinda's dancing...

I LOVE IT!!!

The call and response in the Cha Cha Cha as well as the *flirtatiousness* REALLY sets off the character of the dance. I haven't seen a Cha that neat in a long time.

They seem VERY well matched. Neither outdances the other or "shows up" the other. Beautiful connection and use of the floor. I love it when dancers take up the whole floor.

Perfect emotional connection. If they are genuinly as positive as a couple as they are on this demo, I'd really want to take partnering lessons from them :) (when I get a partner again :P).

I LOVED watching Melinda at Blackpool, so feminine and sexy. She may not be as fast as Joanna or Yulia, who are both incredible, but she was, on a purely dance level (as opposed to tricks, speed, etc.), more enjoyable to watch. She dances like a lady, very classy.

Really agree! That's the reason I so adore her. Such a classy dancer and feminine.
Fell in love with her dancing after watching the video below. Her walks I can't describe. :D

I think she finally met a partner who makes her dancing look beautiful. Maurizio is an excellent dancer, but many times he out-danced Melinda IMO. But, Andrej is definitely knows what his role is in the partnership.

i was thinking the same thing...that the partnership is bringing out & highlighting her strengths & beauty as a dancer. reminds me of when max started dancing with beata -- i saw him in a whole new light. he's so wonderful at showcasing his partners, but somehow she also showcases *his* talents so nicely.

As for Katerina I believe she retired (and I don't remember that they were married).
