So far only 44 people registered. Hmm .. I may have to walk on the floor with the invisible partner and compete Champ Standard. I will make finals : ) Due to lack of competition. Ha Ha Ha!

Pretty ironic though...whenever I dance am/am, can't find a partner in Latin.

Wish I could be there to see it, but I will be hosting my child's 7th birthday party that day. I will keep my fingers crossed for your dancing if you will keep your fingers crossed for me that it does not rain!!!

Many talents might be a strong sentiment, but appreciate the encouragement - these days its no standard and about 4:1 latin vs. smooth in terms of time and effort, but I figure any time on the comp floor is good for me, no matter what the style.

Was wondering if you and ChaChaPapa might be joining us...hope ChaChaChild's 7th bday is great!

Thanks, ETP! Unfortunately the fall frolic tends to be quite small, so there won't be much butt to kick ;). Here's to hoping its not mine that gets kicked instead!

I feel you. I tried looking for a suitable partner for a year, and got nothing. I gave up and am now training with someone who was dancing at a lower level in another style... which doesn't bug me as much usually, since that can be overcomed. But me and new DP are all kinds of mismatch in terms of height, personality, practice ethics, goals, etc... hahaha. Oh well I figure having a mismatch is better than having no DP at all for now, so I'm giving it a shot... even though sometimes all I want is to shoot him in the head... hahaha. I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you, hopefully you'll find someone soon!

Online registration comes up a way too late, we checked online registration before but kept seeing last year's info, then we forgot about it, think online registration only up 1 or 2 weeks ago? Sort of late and short of notice, guess we'll pass this year.
