I like to dance at clubs especially at the start when theres nobody else on the floor and I'm still full of energy and do a lot of jumping forwards and spinning and stuff (nothing earth shattering) but being into metal I used to wear new rocks but they just break, this latest pair lasted only 6 months and for £144 its a bit much. I switched to some cheap pointy cowboy shoes from ebay (£24) and I could dance much faster (yay) but they have completely fallen apart in just 2 months (I dance once or twice a weekend for about an hour).
If I buy some expensive (they seem to be about £60-£70) dance shoes, how long should I expect them to last bearing in mind:
- I sweat a lot dancing
- The floor tends to get beer etc all over it by the end of the night
- I am size 12 shoe, 6ft6 and 16 stone
- Are there any specific types that suit clubbing better (high durability)?
The boots usually break by tearing away from the sole and then the sole wears down and splits.
