I'm just wondering if there's a common pattern in the popularity of certain songs played at dances.

Two that are played at lot at WCS dances here:

Miss You - Rolling Stones remix version.
We Got More Bounce in California - don't know artist.

Whenever Wherever Shakira Samba
Party Time Samba Gloria Estefan

Another Cha Im forever hearing is Love Potion #9, I like it though!
