I will be starting pointe lessons in ballet next year.

Unfortunately, I have no clue which brand of point shoes to buy. I am already an adult and my feet are not the best feet in the world, so a good quality, supportive pointe shoe is a necessity. I know we have Teplov, Sansha and Gaynor Minden available locally, possibly other makes as well.

Does anyone have any recommendations and/or advice on which pointe shoes would be a good choice?

You should have your pointe shoes fitted by either your teacher or those with experience at a good shop. What type of shoes you end up with are usually fitted to the structure/type of feet you have.
