As some of you know, I am here in New York. The friend I am staying with met me at the airport with his friend and they had a dozen, beautifully shaped white roses for me   :D

This has been one of the most beautiful things that has happened this year. I am still speechless, 12 hours on :D

He does these funny thoughtful things and I wanted run around JFK showing everyone my flowers  but my 'english side' prevailed. So I just gave him another big hug instead

For Enquiring minds  the gesture was not romantically motivated :D

Thanks Larinda. I know :D He really does make me laugh in ways that few have and as he says, he is trying to bring out the 'fluffy side' of me

What a great start to your NY visit Pacion... and so much more valuable than anything you might do or see... it is a blessing that you have such a friend and recognize that. Enjoy your visit...

all that cause he gave u a dozen flowers?! .. why thats the oldest trick in the book hon  .. typical female over reaction.. and then u complain about how easily women get duped by guys LOL..

now if it was diamonds on the otherhand.. u should give'em the benefit of doubt i guess

 Exxccuussseee me! It was not a dozen flowers, it was two dozen (a typo on my part  ) roses!

And, seeing as your eyesight seems to be fading (ol' age and so on, and so forth  ), I will repeat something from my original post, in a larger font especially for you

For Enquiring minds  the gesture was not romantically motivated :D

Therefore, there was no duping :D

Say what you will, Sabor. Roses work. Romantically or otherwise. I'll have to tell you my unbearably romantic long-stem-rose-related story one of these days.
