It looks like this won't be THE DF East Coast reunion. I still have people PMing me suggestions for totaly different events. But it can be one of the DF East Coast Reunions. 8)
So who's going? And how/where to meet up? :D

I will be competing. Tango and Foxtrot on Friday with my instructor and my newest Am/Am partner in Tango and Foxtrot, too. Foxtrot at Newcomer and Tango at Pre-Bronze.
Also will be attending Friday evening's events to watch my instructor and her partner compete in one of the Pro events.
I believe there will probably be limited dancing for warm ups and I'll certainly be dancing around. However, it might be nice to meet at a location in the area that has a mix of ballroom, swing, and salsa music. I'd suggest the studio where I take lessons because they host socials on Friday and Saturday evenings, but it is outside the Boston Area by an hour. Are there other ideas?

I'll be there from Thursday night on... (but am still in search of floorspace in a room somewhere if anyone has any to spare!)
In the evenings I'll actually be floorside with camera in hand but, during the days, I'd love to meet up with anyone who'll be around! :D

Steve and I will be there Saturday night to dance, we assume. I had a bit of a physical setback a few weeks ago and we will not dance if I am not in top phsical form. But it is our plan to dance there.

I hope you are well enough to make it. It is always a treat to watch you two perform.

Yankee is about a half hour walk from me... doesn't look like I'll be dancing, and I will probably be spending part of Friday or Saturday helping my mother move in Connecticut, but I will likely also be around some that weekend and may make it to the show.

I'm *supposed* to compete on Thursday, but not 100% sure if I'll be able to. I'll know better by tomorrow.

Ok...looks like we have the following so far:
Mambo Queen might be dancing on Thursday.
Dancepoet is competing on Friday and will be watching that evening.
Larinda is likely competing with Steve on Saturday.
Chris Stratton might be around during the weekend.
And SDsalsaguy, photographer extraordinaire, will be around through out.
Anybody else?
Anybody want to meet for dinner on Friday night in between the matineee and evening events?

I'd be happy to do the dinner thing Friday. And I hope that everyone else comes up and introduces themselves too! Especially in the evenings I should be easy to pick out... I'll have my camera rig with me and I'll be lurking by the edges of the floor.

I'm going to the show on Saturday night, but will miss most of the rest of the comp due to family obligations in Connecticut on Friday and into Saturday morning. Most of my friends aren't dancing the amateur events on Sunday (generally for a different reason in every case) so I'm not sure I'm likely to show up to watch.

If you wear something purple, they will be sure not to miss you

She can't help herself, SD. She's just a purple-obsessed woman.
Besides, I suspect the ponytail will be a dead giveaway, not?

SD: Not sure you will ever get past that photo of you in purple, but I suspect it could be worse. :)

Hmm, I'm trying to decide - which would be worse for a guy to be photogoraphed in?
Purple pants... or a purple ballgown?
The later is almost easier to explain away...

I'm bumming out that I can't be there. I hope my co-students are doing well!!
Does anyone know when they're posting results?
Do you guys know the dinner plans for Friday? I have to be in Boston for something and I could slip away for a while!

Warren: Hope to say hello to you on Friday night. I'm a tall, slender, short haired blond guy with glasses. Likely I'll have kacki pants, short sleeve blue plaid shirt, and Navy blue jacket (if it's cool in the dance hall) on Friday evening.
Mambo Queen: There hasn't been specific dinner plans made, but I do tend to connect with SDsalsaguy if I find him. Perhaps he will be the keypoint regarding dinner.
(This is my last post till Saturday. I'll be at Yankee all day and into the night!)

I'm debating going in tonight to see the final show/comps. $65, though?? Egads! So, does anyone know, will I actually be *standing* the whole time there???
Warren J. Dew

I don't know if they're completely sold out of seats yet. They weren't on Friday, but there wasn't a show on Friday.
Standing might not be so terrible. Eye level when standing is better than when sitting, actually, unless you have a seat on the risers. If you're in the area, $65 is a lot cheaper than going to USBC or Blackpool to see Chris & Hazel.
Didn't hook up with any dance forums folks last night, but we got there as the competitions started so there wasn't much time to look for people.
