Have you ever? When? Why? With what, in the case of food? How did it start? If you have never had one, would you start one?

Enquiring minds would like to know

i always get into pillow fights :P

everytime my friends and i get together for a little sleepover, we have our usual pillow fights that consist of us running around the entire house lugging a million pillows and throwing them at each other

it's fun

Hehehe. I have had food fights...in the school cafeteria many times!
Of course we had to clean it up and we got detention but it never deterred us..it WAS lots of fun!

I was a naughty girl at school. :?

Food fights are gross! Fun, while they last, but totally disgusting to clean up. Haven't done one of those since elementary (primary) school.

Pillow fights, on the other hand, oh yeah. I've done those, and recently too. Great forgirlie sleepovers, kids love em, and I've even done them with an SO, here and there. :D Fun.

Never had a food fight, water and pillow fights yes

I watched a 'sugar cube/lump' and cream (that goes in coffee) fight once  Was totally unimpressed.

It was at my departmental Christmas dinner a number of years ago, at the restaurant of a hotel. The waiters brought in the sugar and cream to follow with the coffee. Someone was hit just at the edge of her eyelashes with a cube - the force was such that the skin broke and she was bleeding. I didn't realise they were throwing the cream also until some landed on me, at which point I made a swift exit. If I were wearing an old cotton t-shirt, I would not have minded, but it was a lot more formal than that! Oh, and the waiters, when they came back in to the room, and saw what was going on, they left and I am not sure if they ever returned to serve the coffee... 'occupational harzard'?

How about rubber band fights? I've never done one of those, either, but wow! The last one I witnessed was between three or four PhD-level research scientists at work. It was hilarious to watch all these brilliant, well-known people running around, giggling and ambushing each other with rubber bands. (Elastic bands in UK, I think?)
