Has anyone experienced in their travels that time either goes slowly or flies (as in blink twice and the day is over  ) when you are in that place? Or that you seem to somehow have more hours of the day in certain places and less in others, even though it is still the same 24hours in the day

Time goes very slowly at work, but in dance class, yes, I blink and it's over! 8)

 I could say the same too but what I am getting at is specific towns/cities/locations.

For instance, in Sydney, I seemed to have more hours in the day. In London, it is just about enough and in New York  blick once and it is afternoon  (I am not kidding, I was waking up between 7.30-8.30 each day and yet it was afternoon before I ................... blinked  )

Isn't that called the work versus holiday time continuum?

 I misunderstood the question, sorry.

Unfortunately I haven't travelled widely so I honestly don't know about being in other cities. If I have travelled it is usually on holidays, and yes, as pygmalion said, holiday time definitely goes faster than work time!!

I am jetlagged  Your excuse?

Anyway, blick = blink :kitty:

Isn't that called the work versus holiday time continuum :nope: I wish it were that simple, as I have noticed that it does not happen to the same extent on other trips :?

Very true daffy. If you are into what you are doing time ceases to be important...All too often we think about the past, about the future, inappropriate things about the present. Appreciating the beauty of what we are doing, the joy of being alive, the gift of breathing...how can time matter so much? In many cultures around the world community, people relish their interactions with others. In the modernized western world there is a tendancy of society to value inanimate things... [Okay I'm going to get off my soapbox. I'm just in a very introspective mood tonight.]

Maybe it's that NYC is on hyper speed. Haven't you noticed? Please there walk quickly, talk quickly, eat quickly. Everything moves more quickly there.

 Maybe they have experienced the same thing as I have, and therefore do everything at double speed :?
