Hi!
So far I've danced in Ray Rose blizzards, and I would like to try International shoes.
My question is, are International narrower/wider than RR?
I was thinking of getting Flavia model.
Thanx!

I only tried International standard shoes ICS round toe with Dimante strap, I absolutely love it!!! Its very comfy, the most comfortable std shoes I've tried!!! The front is little bit wider than Supa 1008 which I used to wear.
I've never tried RR shoes, so can't really compare to RR width. I personally feel ICS round toe is so far the most comfortable std shoes.
What is the Flavia style you are looking at? Is it Latin shoes?

Hi Standarddancer,
Thanks for your reply.
I was talking about Latin shoes.
Here is a photo of the model:

I wear ICS Superstar Pointed Toe w/ Strap (which I think is slightly narrower than the round tow Standarddancer was talking about). I would say my feet are pretty normal width and I've never had better fitting court shoes.
I know nothing about latin shoes but I would think you'd be able to get away with wearing slightly narrower shoes than with court shoes because they are open-toed...

I currently wear the Blizzard in size 3.5, width Medium+. I haven't worn Internationals in years, but I needed their Wide width. I will say, though, just looking at the photo of the Flavia shoe, I don't think you'll get the same kind of flexibility as with the Blizzard. What makes the Blizzard so great is that knot design that auto adjusts the straps as you flex and point your foot. And also, the straps are unlined, while the Flavia straps are lined, so that will make a difference.
What in particular do you not like about the Blizzard? If you like the balance but not the particular strap style, then I would stick with Ray Rose but try a different model. What appeals to you about the Flavia?
