View Full Version : Philly Festival 2010--Live Streaming Broadcasts!

I just got an e-mail that said that Philly Festival will be live streaming their Saturday night pros and their Sunday kids events over the web. HOW COOL IS THAT?

Of course, I'd MUCH RATHER be competing at Philly (my favorite pro-am comp last year), but my teacher is only going to be getting back from Blackpool around the time Philly is starting, so that's not a possibility for us this year. <Pouty face>.

Last year, I finished 5th in the closed scholarship (bronze/silver/gold), which started from a quarter-final. It was only my 3rd pro-am comp and I was thrilled to make the cut into the final! I wanted to see if I could do even better this year. Oh well--hopefully 2011!

CCM, Are you coming to watch or are you sitting this one out? I'm dancing Saturday afternoon, but skipping the evening events this year.

I've been dancing pro since this April, did a few pro comps actually, sorry too busy so not posting so much on DF, not that diligent in keeping status up to date;)

I also understand that they will be streaming all of the childrens events on Sunday. Great oportunity fo the grandparents back in Europe to see thje grand kids. Updates are going to be on the web site front page as to the schedule and access

Thanks ChelD and Pruthe. It was a fun comp, although this venue a bit tricky to find, our GPS just did not want to display this comp address. It was a nice hotel just the floor long side is bit short for standard. Saturday night events were well-organized and pretty much on schedule, pro smooth and Latin were exciting to watch too.
